Just ordered one. I’ll let you know how they look.
I made it by screenshotting a pdf of the constitution someone had translated to arabic, then pasting that into a word doc, then screenshotting that… so its pretty hacked up.
I want a t-shirt with the first amendment in arabic for when I ride on planes (not that I do that much)… been reading lots of TSA stories thanks to stumbleupon lately…
I guess I could just use google translate or something.
Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

I don’t like Ted Kennedy. I don’t agree with his politics. However, I wish him well in his fight against the brain tumor, as I wish any human being well. I know there will be people who are very happy about his illness, or who will cheer when he dies, but I won’t be one of them.
Feeling very visual lately. Wanting to do more work in photography and painting. Haven’t painted in years, but I have something in mind from an experience I had last November. I just hope I can pull it off. I’ve pretty much always painted in acrylic, and I don’t know that that would be the right medium. Probably watercolor would be more like it.
Photography wise, I need to learn to be more technical. Ansel Adams said “A good photograph is knowing where to stand.” and that’s pretty much my technique. But if I want to get better at designing photos rather than capturing them as they occur, I need to learn the medium better… Probably also need to start shooting raw and get better at photoshop while I’m at it… Hey, I should get a copy of photoshop. Not that I want to do much touching up, I’d rather get it right in the camera… but if I can make things look better afterward, well, cool.
I love diagnosing other companies problems for them. This week… Internap in Houston couldn’t talk to an Akamai host reliably. This caused our external monitoring through Gomez to fail and throw alerts.
Once again, the effort to cut out chocolate, starbucks (included in the former, since I only drink mochas), and to eliminate complaints as a form of conversation.
I’m going to call the official start date June 1, but this is a rolling start.
According to the deviantart stats, my iching photo is by far the most popular. Next would be the photo of the malibu pier. Don’t think anyone has bought prints, though.
I still don’t have my custom calendar hanging anywhere. What a waste.
A couple weeks back, I posted about a site that wanted to use one of my photos for their new edition of an online guide to california. Well, my photo made it:
My pic is in the upper right, with attribution. If you click the arrows to either side, you’ll see the other photos they went with. I have to say, mine is waaaay better than the rest. 😉
