I just played quake for the first time in a few months… I was on Biscuit’s server playing some 2fort5 and I got asked to join a clan… I suppose the fact that as a soldier I was a good 20 frags ahead of all those snipers was a nice demonstration of how godly I am… of course those frags were really the two flags I capped, but still…

I was just over at the temple of thee lemur site a few minutes ago, reading about their new honor system for hacking their site… They figure they’ll make it so easy to trash their page, that no one will bother. So, they put a page with a big red button that wipes the webroot.

This can’t be real, right?

So I pushed the button… And it told me to please not push the button again…

So I pushed it again…

Well, I hope they restore their site soon, ’cause that was the first thing I looked at and I didn’t get a chance to catch up on the site… *sigh*

I did a huge hike yesterday with Masa and James. We went out to punchbowl in Ojai. Must have been at least 5 miles (up a big friggin hill).

I’m in the midst of some annoying crap with bigfoot.com… As you may know, for the last several years I’ve had a bigfoot address so I would always have one address to give to people, no matter where I was currently checking my mail… Well, earlier this week, it stopped forwarding. Along with that, bigfoot has stopped responding to me. I’ve sent in probably a dozen messages to them, but not once have they responded.

Pretty fucked up…

So you may notice that my email address listed on the site has changed in a few places to my bhodisoft address. As long as I have the domain (and a working dns/mail server) that addy should work… I hope.

Also, I gave some consideration to the “fear of flying” I’d convinced myself I had… I’ve flown to Tahiti, Fiji, Sydney, Brisbane, Cairns, Honolulu, Maui, and Oakland… The only time I stressed was the Oakland trip, but that probably had more to do with the fact that I was making an emergency trip up to visit an injured friend.

Really, I don’t feel much more uncomfortable about flying than I do about riding as a passenger in a car or a bus… Too bad I didn’t come to this conclusion before I mentioned it in that interview, but it might not have made the difference anyway.
